Zoie Nydereka Keshawn Fuqua

Princess Zoie Nydereka Keshawn Fuqua made her grand entrance on March 11, 2001, in Decatur, Alabama, and made her final farewell on January 15, 2025, to enter her castle in the sky and be with the Lord.

Princess Zoie accepted Christ on June 20, 2010, and joined Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Town Creek, Alabama, keeping her spiritual relationship with the Lord and often times sharing her knowledge of the word with others. Zoie graduated from Colbert County High School in 2019 and then took on her greatest title.....Mommy! Zoie was a natural nurturer with a open heart, mind, and arms. Her individual relationships were blessed due to she held the ability to be whoever that person needed at that time, always a phone call away; her beautiful smile, humble spirit, and caring heart were qualities that never changed and will always be remembered.....PRINCESS QUALITIES!

Zoie’s King, which was her Dad, Derrick Eugene Bates, Sr., left this earthly palace before her, and her Princess, Zoie Nyelle Bates McCoy, made the transition with her.
