Mr. Willie O’mars Long was born on January 5, 1967, to the late Willie B. and Helen Long. He graduated from Cherokee Vocational High School.
Willie was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Willie B. Long and Helen Long, sisters, Thersa Long, Angela Long, mother-in-law, Debra Roberson, grandmothers, Sadell Long and Hattie Newman, grandfathers, Arthur long and Alger Coleman, Sr., and various other relatives.
He was survived by his wife of 18 years, Mrs. Carla Tayor Long, His Loving and Devoted Daughter, Kelsey Rena Long. A Devoted Son, Willie (Maevry) Thompson III, Father-in-Law, Authur Pickett (Bea) of Gary, IN. Brothers: Robbin (Etsuko) Long, Columbia, SC, Rickey (Chapronica) Long of Cherokee AL. Mickey (Nicole) Long, Lawrenceville GA, Ronnie Newman. Brother-in-Laws, Jameel (Gila) Roberson of Florence AL and Marcus Hamilton of Georgia. His Loving fur Babies, Sassy and Sage. Uncles, William Coleman, Alger Coleman, Jr., and James Long. Aunts, Pearlene Cole, Mattie Long. Nieces and nephews, and a host of other cousins and friends.
