Mr. Willie Lee Cowan was born on May 16, 1954 in Town Creek, Alabama, he transitioned from this life on Monday, November 25, 2019. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Macedonia M.B. Church in Town Creek, Alabama. He graduated from Sheffield High School. He joined the Job Corps and later joined the U.S. Army. He worked various jobs and retired from Pounders Car Wash. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Susie Mae Perkins, Father, Mr. Leroy Hood and two brothers, Leslie D. Madden and Barry Harris. He leaves to mourn two sons: Terrell Burt and Willie Cowan, Jr., one step son, Robert Eastland; seven grandchildren; step mother, Rebecca Hood, five sisters: Lucy Jarmon, Constance Cowan, Monica Perkins, Mary Ricks, Brenda Ricks (Earnest), Becky Shackelford (Larry) and Carolyn Cooper (Rongi); eleven brothers: James Goode, Johnny Cowan (Jessie), Thomas Harris, Kenneth Cowan, Roy Hood (Patricia), Thomas Davis, David Hood (Tequeenia), O’Brien Hood (Fe) and a very special uncle, Percy Harris and cousin, Theresa Harris, aunts: Hattie Sanders, Ruby Torrain (Matthew) and Irene Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
