William Fuqua, Jr. Obituary

1 Thessalonian 4:13-14 Brothers and Sisters, we do not want you to be uniformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind who have no hope.
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who has fallen asleep in Him.

William Otis Fuqua Jr., "Junior", "Kakes" was born on
December 24, 1983, to William Otis and Deborah Kennedy Fuqua. He departed this earthly life on October 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by his sister Lakeisha Daniels, paternal grandparents Mollie Fuqua Johnson and Leonard Johnson, and maternal grandparents Edmund and Lorraine Kennedy.

He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age and joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church. He received his education from Florence High School and previously worked in food service. Those that knew him will greatly miss his lively personality, his smile, sense of humor, his willingness to help others and his love of family and friends.

In loving memory, Junior will be forever cherished by his loving father: William Otis Fuqua Sr. of  Huntsville, Alabama; his mother Deborah Kennedy Fuqua; one brother: Joshua William Fuqua, and one sister: Lashonda "Vette" Daniels, all of Florence Alabama, two aunts: Carolyn Johnson (Governor) of Muscle Shoals Alabama, Sandy Ebeling (Mike); three uncles: Jimmy Kennedy (Eileen), Kenny Kennedy (Mary) all of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; Eddie Kennedy (Kathy) of Atlanta, Georgia; great aunt: Pearlene Fuqua of Florence, Alabama; great uncle: Earl Joe Fuqua of Lima, Ohio
and a host of cousins and friends.

John 14:1-3 Let not your hearts be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
