Mr. Willard Pernell Goodloe was called to be with the Lord on Monday, November 17, 2025, at his residence. Willard was born on July 19, 1965, to the late Willer Dean Johnson and Willard Goodloe.
Willard was baptized at an early age and later joined Everdale Missionary Baptist Church in Sheffield, Alabama. He attended Deshler High School in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willer and Willard Goodloe; brother, Michael Goodloe; a lifelong partner of 21 years, Rosa Goodloe; and a stepson, Don Nance.
Willard leaves to cherish his memories:
two sisters, Beverly (Ray) Johnson and Sharon (Minister Tommy) Davis, both of Sheffield, AL; daughter, Shakiyla Eggleston; son, Michael Eggleston; stepdaughters, Stacey (Jacque) Jackson and Jessica Nance; stepson, Oneal Nance; grandchildren, Shakiya and Riley of Huntsville, AL, Kayden, Miking, Zivan, Kaniah, Ezekial, Emmanuel, Malachi, and Marquez, all of Sheffield, AL; uncles, James (Constance) Hooks and Henry (Barbara) Jackson; aunts, Augusta Jackson, Minnie Goodloe, both of Tuscumbia, AL, Ola Goo, Flora Smith, Lois Goin, Pearl Goodloe, all of New York, and Carline (Robert) Roach of Florence, AL; nephews, Quentin (Tae) Goodloe of Florence, AL, Quintae Davis and Ray Johnson Jr., both of Sheffield, AL; nieces, Ladeanna Davis of Sheffield, AL, Tamekia Davis of Florence, AL, and Sherease Qualls of Muscle Shoals, AL; two special close friends, Jason Stalling and Gloria Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
