Vearline Watkins

God called Vearline Watkins (age 49), from her earthly residence and escorted her to glorious everlasting home on Friday, November 12, 2021.

She was born January 24, 1972, to the late Laura Mae McClain Watkins and Hosea Cornelius Jones. 

Vearline attended school at Colbert County High School and confessed a belief in Christ at Cave Spring Missionary Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in by her brothers: Sammy McClain, Hosea Jones, Jr., sisters: Amy Watkins, Faye Hankins, Martha Jean Hall, Elizabeth Hampton; uncle: Charlie McDuffie; great aunt: Susie McClain.

She leaves to cherish 4 loving children: Ashley Watkins of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; April Watkins of Decatur, Alabama; Tymeshia Watkins of Florence, Alabama; Tyrone Watkins of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; 12 grandchildren: Katarrius Ray, Taearrius Ray, Maleik Ray, Brilan Ray, Tymerian Thompson, Jace Thompson, Raylynn Watkins, Kensleigh Watkins, Tylasia Watkins, Kyngston Watkins, Laura Thompson, Emory Strong; brothers: Otis (Linda) Suggs of Russellville, Alabama,  Bobby Jones of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Jimmy (Catrena) Jones of Harvest, Alabama; sisters: Mary Ann Kindle of Florence, Alabama, Deborah Watkins of Sheffield, Alabama, Stephanie Hankins of Tennessee, Ruby Jones of Muscle Shoals, Alabama,  Martha Stepher of Cleveland, Ohio, Brenda (Willie) King of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; uncle: Leo Elder of Los Angles, California, aunt: Ester Polk of Florence, Alabama; special friends: Rodney Jones and Brenda King.
