On September 22,1977, God gave us Valerie Michelle Acklin. She is the daughter of the late Alma Christine Acklin Jarmon.
Valerie was granted her wings early December 19, 2021, in Birmingham, AL. She confessed to Christ. She rededicated herself and became a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Sheffield, AL. She was preceded in death by her mother Alma Christine Acklin Jarmon, her grandson Matthew Armoni Houston, and her grandparents Andrew Acklin Sr. and Betty Lee Acklin.
Those left to cherish Valerie’s memories are, her handsome sons and beautiful daughter: Cadarrius Daequan Acklin (Emilie) , Jake R Hogan III (Lindsey) , Jakurius Lakeis Hogan, and Cadaesha Briauna Monique Acklin (Tyrone) all of Florence, AL; her loving brother: Derrick Raynard Acklin; granddaughters: Kyndall Navae Acklin and Makynna Lee Acklin; nieces and nephews: Jamia Nicole Acklin, Kyliah Sharnae Jones, Jakyla Michelle Acklin, Jakylan Mishawn Acklin, Taylon Cameron Scott, and Delashia R~nae Thompson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
