Tyreke Zion Gentry was born on November 22, 2004, to Marsha Gentry and Timothy Hill, in Nashville, Tennessee. Tyreke spent his early years in Franklin, TN, and grew up in Columbia, TN. He later moved to Sheffield, Alabama, with his mother and siblings, along with his stepfather, Willie Cecil.
Tyreke always had an outgoing, friendly, respective, and loving spirit; he was a joy to be around. He would always take care of other people, and he loved his family. Tyreke and his father, Timothy Hill, Sr. had just started to bond together, he never let anything or anyone to keep him down. He attended Sheffield High School in Sheffield, AL. He was very athletic, he participated in various sports: baseball, ran track, and played football. Tyreke graduated back home in Tennessee at Horace Porter. Despite having asthma, he was a true athlete regardless with a very promising career and the ladies loved him. He was loved by so many people.
Ty would sing to his grandma and talk football with his grandfather. He had a special bond with his siblings to know him was to love him. He was also accepted Christ and was baptized at Newtown Church of Christ in Springhill, TN. Sadly, he was taken from us too soon, we will never forget the times we shared with him. God blessed us with 20 beautiful years that will always cherish the memories we shared. We love you! #LLTY! #TeamTY!
