Tanya Lynn (Weathers) Sheffield

Tanya Lynn (Weathers) Sheffield, age 49, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. She was born on May 14, 1975, to her late parents, Linda and Jackie Ray Weathers.

She is survived by her brother, Jason Weathers; two sons, Trevor Thomas Ray Weathers and Joseph Sheffield; her husband, Joe Sheffield; her niece, Katie McCoy; and her beloved grandchildren, Paisley Jane Weathers, Esther Ray Weathers, and Ezra Thomas Ray Weathers.

Tanya was a loving person who found joy in the simple moments of life, whether that was making people laugh or feeding ducks at the park. She will be remembered for her remarkable sense of humor and the lives she touched. Though she may no longer be with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A private ceremony to honor Tanya’s life will be held at a later time.
