Stephanie ReNee Mastin was born on September 20, 1965, to the late Bessie
Mae Dillworth and Thomas Edison Vinson. She transitioned from her earthly home
to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield,
Alabama. She was the strongest fighter I have ever known; she fought battle after
battle, and with God’s strength and her faith, she won the most important battle, to
not be sick anymore, and to be well and in Gods arms as a Beautiful Angel. We love
you so much, always and forever.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was a lifelong member of Galilee Missionary
Baptist Church. She loved God and her daughters, granddaughters, sister, brothers,
nephews, nieces, and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Mae Dillworth; father, Thomas
Edison Vinson; and sister, Juanita Mastin.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Sharda Mastin (Nick) of Muscle
Shoals, AL, and Shemia Mastin (Kevin) of Muscle Shoals, AL; four granddaughters,
Amoni Mastin, SoRaya Mastin, SaMaria Barnett, and A’Mira Goodloe; one sister,
Valerie (John) Summerhill of Florence, AL; three brothers, Larry Muhammad, Roger
Mastin, and Dexter (Carolyn) Mastin, all of Leighton, AL; four nephews, Jarre Mastin,
Sr., Roger Mastin, Jr., Richard Rhodes, of Portland, OR, and Corey (Erica) Summerhill
of Huntsville, AL; four great-nephews, Jarre Mastin, Jr., Dee Mastin, Devin Mastin,
and X’avier Mastin; nieces, Danecia (Dylan) Pellum of Muscle Shoals, AL, Lashunda
(Adrian) Bradley of Portland, OR, and Ariana Roberson of Madison, AL; a special
niece, Autumn Summerhill of Madison, AL; three great-nieces, Bria (Briley) Cole and
Breanna (Brielle) Cole, and La’Ambria Ford; and a host of special cousins and friends.
