Ronald Wendell Green was born on November 23, 1953, in Tuscumbia, AL to Johnnie Green and Charlotte Perrett. He departed this life peacefully on March 4, 2023, surrounded by his family.
He graduated from Pershing High School in Detroit, MI. He also attended Detroit Business Institute for two years. He was employed at Simmons Tire for He retired from American Wholesale in 2016. He was also a faithful member of the St. Paul; Missionary Baptist Church- Tuscumbia, Alabama.
Ronald was known for his love of dancing, sharp dressing, telling jokes, his curly hair, and being an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, the Detroit Piston (Bad Boys), and the University of Michigan.
Ronald survived by his devoted wife, Veronica Elaine Nance Green for 40 years. They have three children together Ramone (Kesha) Green, DeVere Green, Anitra (Barry) Green Ward.
He was preceded in death by his father Johnnie Green, his brother Jimmy Green, his sister Martha Jean.
Ronald leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Charlotte Perrett brothers and sisters, James (Margare) Freeman, Mattie Johnson, Walter Rutland, Barbarise Green, Jerry (Debra)Perrett. Grandchildren Alexia Green, Karon Green, Delilah Ward, Great Grandchildren Audrey Green, Alaysia Green. A host of nephews and nieces, best friends Jimmy Dooley, and Jessie Cobb.
Ronald positively impacted his community, and he will truly be missed.
