Mr. Rickey Mitchell was born on April 2, 1961, in Lawrence County, Alabama to Janie Lee Mitchell and James Malone. Ricky confessed in Christ at an early age and joined Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church of Town Creek, Alabama, until he moved to Muscle Shoals, then joined Bethel Colbert Missionary Baptist Church of Leighton.
Rickey finished 12th grade at Hazelwood High School in Town Creek, AL. Ricky worked on many jobs, but he loved being a mechanic until his health failed.
