Lawrence T. C. Pearson was born on Tuesday, April 6, 1928,
to the late Leroy and Roxie Pearson in Lafayette County,
Mississippi.
He was the third child of twelve siblings. He was raised on a
farm for 22 years. At the age of 13, he confessed Christ.
He married at the age of 19, and had eight children - six girls
and two boys - as well as three stepchildren - two boys and one
girl. He also had 11 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and
16 great-grandchildren.
He left Mississippi in 1952, and moved to Lexington, Kentucky.
He worked at Kin Kaid and Wilson Motor Company for five
years as an automobile painter. In 1957, he moved to Benthober,
Michigan. He left there and moved to Michigan city, Indiana.
He built box cars for trains. He also worked at Cadillac Pontiac
for about 12 years, and as a security officer for Keystone Security
and Gentor Motors, Inc., for 13 years. Later, he worked at Weil
McClain Industries for 33 years. He retired on August 29, 2002,
at the age of 73. He then moved from Michigan City, Indiana,
to Tuscumbia, Alabama, in April of 2002.
When he turned 21, he received his calling into the ministry.
He pastored Christian Unity Apostolic Church for 17 years. He
was a senior pastor of Joint Heirs with Christ for three and a
half years. In 2006, He meet a lady by the name of Charlotte

2007. He joined the Mt. Olievia M.B. Church on December 31,
2007, where he served as an associate minister.
Lawrence’s favorite song was When the Saints Go Marching In.
His favorite scriptures were Acts 2:38 and Acts 4:12. His favorite
colors were black and white, and his hobbies were fishing and
hunting. He delighted in teaching and preaching. He passed
the time by reading, meditating, and praying. Lawrence was a
