Mr. Quintin Montez Jones was born on January 9, 1984 to the late Herman Jones Jr. and Wanda McCainey. He departed this life on Sunday, February 15 at UAB Hospital-Birmingham, Alabama. He confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church-Florence, Alabama. He graduated from Colbert County High School in Leighton, Alabama in the year of 2002. He played basketball while a student at Colbert County High School. He also attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. He was preceded in death by: Herman Jones Jr.-Father; Frank Bodie Sr.-Grandfather; Herman Jones Sr.-Grandfather; and Tommie McCainey Jr.-Step-Father. He leaves to cherish his memories: Mother: Wanda McCainey-Florence, Alabama; Son: M'Kenzie Jones-Florence, Alabama; Four Sisters: Monica Jones, Raneshia Jones, Nafisa Richardson, and Sierra Kiles- All of Florence, Alabama; Grandmothers: Mattie Bodie-Florence, Alabama; Cora Majors-Sheffield, Alabama; One Niece: Zaryelle Fuqua-Florence, Alabama; One Nephew: Alleick Shipley-Florence, Alabama; Two Very Devoted Friends: Carrie White-Birmingham, Alabama; Michael Merriweather-Dallas, Texas; Aunt: Cynthia Reed-Flornce, Alabama; Uncles: Frank (Gina) Bodie Jr.-Detriot, Michigan; Marcus (Rhonda) Bodie-Fairview, Tennessee; Tracy (DeMaika) Bodie-Greenville, Mississippi; Robert (Denise) Bodie Sr.-Florence, Alabama; Stanley (Anita) Jones-Muscle Shoals, Alabama; Curtis Thompson-Sheffield, Alabama; Dennis Jones-Sanford, Florida; Larry Thompson-Florence, Alabama; God Aunt: Brenda Perkins; God Mother: Jacqueline King and a host of other relatives & friends.
