Preston Anthony Stover

Preston Anthony Stover was born December 26, 1964, in Leighton, Alabama, to Clementine Stover and Sammy Mullins. Preston departed this life on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at his residence.

He received his GED at Northwest Shoals Community College and continued his career in the US Army from 1987-1989. Preston lived a very industrial and meaningful life. He continued his career at Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, IL for 25 years. He also worked at various companies in Colbert and Lauderdale Counties.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clementine Stover and Sammy Mullins.

Eight sisters, Brenda Stover of Newark, NJ, Linda Stover of Leighton, AL, Cathy Stover of Newark, NJ, Tonya Mullins, Sherita Perkins, Vanessa Williams, Rhonda Mullins, and Lois Mullins; four brothers, Billy Stover of PA, Gregory Stover of Leighton, AL, Chester (Regina) Stover of Miami, FL, and Scott Stover of Newark, NJ; there was always a special place in his heart for cousins, Janet Green of Atlanta, GA, Wanda Jean Sanders of Florence, AL, and Ann Stover of Town Creek, AL; his best friend, Keith King; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
