Mr. Percy Lee Shaw, formerly of Sheffield, Alabama, was born June 3, 1968, to the late Mr. Daniel Frank Johnson and Miss Lula Irene Shaw.
He transitioned on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age at First Missionary Baptist Church in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Percy attended Colbert Heights High School and graduated from Colbert Heights High School.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Daniel Frank Johnson; Mother, Miss Lula Irene Shaw; brother Cedric (Cecil) Shaw; and sister Theresa Ann Shaw.
Percy leaves to cherish his memories:
his cousin/Godmother, Miss Magdalene Byrd of Tuscumbia, Alabama; sisters, Linda S. Smith of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Lydia L. (Marlena) Shaw of Wynonna, Minnesota; God brothers, Dwight Byrd and Thomas Horrison of Tuscumbia, Alabama; God sons, Maxwell Thompson of Virginia Beach and Norman Brown of Florida; God daughters, Rachel Standard and Lillie Standard of New York, Ashana Standard of Virginia Beach; a beloved & devoted friend, Vernita Standard of Sheffield, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
