Percy Conrodee Harris was born April 4, 1941, to the late Louie Harris, Sr., and Mary Alice Harris. He confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Town Creek, Alabama.
He was a police officer in Chicago for several years. After moving back to Alabama, he started working for General Motors in Decatur, Alabama for over 30 years until he retired. He was a great father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He was a good, kind-hearted person who didn’t mind helping anyone. Everyone loved him. He will be missed but the knowledge he gave others will live on.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Dessie Harris of Town Creek, AL; three sons, Percy (Pam) Mitchell of Texas, Kennedy (Jacqueline) Byrd of Courtland, AL, and Rashad Harris of Decatur, AL; three daughters, Judy Harris of Houston, TX, Katrina Brown of Texas, and Lilia (James) Garner of Muscle Shoals, AL; one stepdaughter, Vita Brown of Town Creek, AL; a host of grandchildren: Tanisha Moore, Quicy Colston, Sharnise L.
