Mrs. Pearlene Little was born October 3rd, 1936, in Landersville, Alabama, to the late Elmer and Tennie Thirkill. She departed this life on July 21st, 2023, at 1:15 A.M.
Pearlene graduated from Moulton Highschool in 1954. She and Reverend Willie Little Sr. met at Hellen Keller Hospital, where they went on to get married in 1955. In addition to working at Hellen Keller Hospital, Pearlene worked at TVA and Yellow Creek. Pearlene Little was a devoted mother who raised six children before and during her employment. Pearlene accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at Town Creek Number One. Afterward, she joined Bethel Colbert Missionary Baptist Church in Leighton, AL. Pearlene Little was an usher at the church, an Eastern Star, and an active-member of the church. Pearlene was the first lady of Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Sheffield, Alabama, where her late husband, Reverend Willie Little Sr., was the pastor.
Mrs. Pearlene Little joins her late-husband, Reverend Willie Little Sr., who were married for 65 years. Pearlene joins her late-children, which include her son Billy (Brenda) Little of Colbert County, Alabama, and her daughter Teresa Little of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. In addition, she leaves behind wonderful-memories with her children: daughter Peggy (Gregory) Quarles of Chicago, Illinois; daughter Linda (Jerry) Watts of Chicago, Illinois; son Willie Little Jr. of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; and son Marcus (Lynnae) Little of Muscle Shoals, AL. She leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the last remaining sibling of her immediate family. Mrs. Pearlene Little leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
