Paul Terry Whitson

Mr. Paul Terry Whitson departed his life on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. He was born June 3, 1955, to the late Marie and the late Lee Dale Whitson. He was a native of Tuscumbia, Alabama.

He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age, where he worshiped at Everdale Missionary Baptist Church in Sheffield, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Lee Dale Whitson; siblings, Paul, William Lee Jr., Joann, Kenneth, Terry, Renay, and Barbara Jean Whitson.

Paul leaves to cherish his memories:

His Life Partner, Gladys Whitson; three daughters, Tarnisha, Michel’la, both of Sheffield, AL, and La’staisha of Georgia; three sons, Deshawn Betts, Darrell Hankins of New York, and Robert Hankins of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Sandra Shrophire and Rosie Softley, both of Sheffield, AL; two brothers, Charles Whitson and Jerry Whitson, both of Sheffield, AL; he also leaves behind several adorable grandchildren, a devoted nephew, George Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
