Pamela Patrina Bonds was born on September 27, 1972, in Arbor, Michigan, to loving parents, Joshua and Peggy Steed. Pamela was the baby of five children. Pamela was a God-fearing woman whose famous phrase was let go and let God. She began her spiritual journey with God when she was a little girl baptized at St. John’s Baptist Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
On February 12, 2025, God called Pamela home with her husband and daughters, Ashley and Adrianna, her sister, Tameka and Angela, and her brother Effrin by her side.
Pamela Patrina Bonds graduated from Willow Ron high school in 1990. attended college and dropped out and said that it wasn’t for her LOL. Pamela went on to work at Walmart where she met Antonio Bonds (the dark knight in the black trench coat), fell in love, married, moved to Florence Alabama and the rest was a 30 plus year love, would end up residing in Florence working at the hospital and then on to North American Lighting, where she met the best friends girl duo that turned into the trio and she would love them through a lifetime (Brenda and Bonita). She met a hairdresser and sister, Maria and so many others like the male line supervisor I can’t remember your name, but you really made an impact on her life. There were so many names that we don’t have the space but thank you all.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Joshua Steed Junior and Peggy Yvonne Steed; a brother, Mytrel L. Steed; niece, Courtney L. Walker.
She leaves behind a legacy of happiness, love, kindness, and peacefulness to be celebrated by her husband Antonio Bonds; her daughters, Ashley Nicole, Adrianna Elizabeth; her sisters, Angela Steed and Tameka McDonald; her brothers, Effrin McDonald and Kelvin Steed; and a host of nieces and nephews.
