Olivia A. Lewis was born on January 1, 1935 and departed this life on August 9, 2019, she was a resident of Florence Nursing and Rehab. She professed her belief in Jesus Christ at an early age and was a longtime member of Mt. Olievia M.B. Church under the leadership of Dr. George J. Granville, where she was a member of the missionary society and a faithful church member until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Lewis, parents, Annie L. Abernathy and Louis Abernathy, brothers, Wadell Abernathy and Ozzie L. Abernathy, sister, Susie Abernathy and Hearmeane Boyd.
She is survived by her children: Debra G. Carter and Harold B. Lewis (Evelyn), brother, Lavert Abernathy, sister, Lydia Faulker, sister in law, Marlene Abernathy, two step children: Annie A. Dickerson (Eugene) and Calvin H. Lewis, ten grandchildren, LaKenna K. London (Terrance), Harold B. Lewis, Jr., Randall C. Johnson, Thomas J. Lewis, Rashad Lewis, Orlando Lewis (Ashley) and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
