Mrs. Nannie Mason was born January 20, 1922 to the late Mr. Isaac Mason Sr. and Mary Mason. She took her trip home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2019 in the family home that she loved in Rocky Hill, Courtland, Alabama.
She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and became a member of the Little Sam MB Church that was later renamed Mt. Zion MB Church in Town Creek AL. She loved her church and worked faithfully until a few years ago when her health began to fail. She was a hard working women who love to cook for her family and friends. She cared for many and loved much, she was a women who had a smile to brighten your day.
She is preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings but one, her only son, Robert James Smith and her only grandson, Michael Smith.
She leaves to cherish her many memories of 97 years her loyal and devoted only granddaughter, Diane Mack Green (Gerald) Philadelphia, PA.; One sister, Ester Orr; Goddaughter, Lena (Nancy) Goodloe, Courtland, AL.; Four Special Nieces, Janie Lynch Cole, Daisy Mason Jones (J.B.), Cora Mason Almon, Tildear Orr, Pizza Mason Henry (Clifton); Special Friend, Edna Redd. Nannie loved unconditionally and made everyone around her feel special including all of her many other family members and friends.
Ms. Mason will lie in the sanctuary one hour prior to the funeral service. Reverend Jessie Little, eulogist Reverend Darius Holden, pastor.
