Bobby Eggleston- Jonga, 59, passed away on September 11, 2021. She was born April 27, 1962, to loving parents the late Irene Eggleston and Harold Cheatham. Bobby was born in Leighton, Alabama, she graduated from Colbert County High School. She was formerly employed with CDD of Decatur, Alabama for 11 years.
She was preceded in death by her loving father, Harold Cheatham and mother, Irene Eggleston, grandmother, Mary Abernathy and great grandmother, Racheal Elder.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her daughters, Tajuana Eggleston and Samaria Bates both of Decatur, Alabama. Two sons: Sammie Prince (Haley) Williams Bates both of Bowling Green, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, four sisters: Rena Eggleston of Decatur, Alabama, Mamie Williams of Nashville, Tennessee, Linda King of Harvest, Alabama, Marilyn Eggleston of Leighton, Alabama, two brothers: Frones Lee Eggleston, Sr., of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Joseph Hampton of Leighton, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends.
