Minister Tommy Edward Davis was born to Frankie Davis and the late Ocie Davis, Sr. on December 12, 1961, in Colbert County, Alabama. Tommy departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the age of 64.
Minister Davis accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a devoted member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Florence, Alabama, where he served the Lord with gladness and a spirit of love.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Denise (Goodloe) Davis; father, Ocie Davis, Sr.; brothers, Michael Davis and Ocie Davis, Jr.; and grandchildren, Ja'Nya Davis and Christin Fascitelli; aunts, Helen Colburn, Cora Colburn, and Elaine Phillips; and uncle, Willie Neloms.
He leaves to cherish his memories:
three loving and devoted children, Quintaz Davis, LaDeanna (Rodney) Davis, and Tamekia Davis; mother, Frankie Davis; grandchildren, Ty'Kya Davis, Iyonna Davis, Quintavon Williams, Riley Davis, Tomarian Garrett, Raine Davis, and R'niyah McDonald; siblings, Sandra Jarmon, Diane (Larry) Hillman, Darryl Davis, and Carlos (Kim) Davis; aunts, Linda Ramson, Annie Hollingsworth, and Carolyn Jones; uncles, Leo Hollingsworth, Gary Hollingsworth, and James Hollingsworth, Jr.; a special cousin, Erica Phillips; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
