Mildred Jane Watson Warren was born on May 7, 1937, to Frank Watson Sr. and Hattie Pearsall Watson. She united with Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church at a very early age. Attended and graduated from Barber School in Detroit, Michigan. Married her high sweetheart, the love of her life, Owen Edward Warren. Through their union, they were blessed with three beautiful children
They were married until his passing.
Mildred received her Lord and Savior's call on Thursday, September 8, 2022. She exchanged her earthly home and entered into her heavenlv home. Mildred was woven into the church, a dedicated woman of God and a true servant to God and to all God's people. She served faithfully on the mother's board, church historian, and many other ministries until her death.
Mildred was loved by so many because of her loving, nurturing, caring, friendly and warm spirit. She was affectionally known as "Mother Warren." She never met a stranger and would feed anybody who came to her doorstep.
Mother Warren was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Edward Warren.
Her parents Frank and Hattie Watson Sr., her siblings: Frank Watson, Marie Carroll, Carolyn (James) Burt, and Hettie (Rev. James) Posie.
Mother Warren is survived by her three daughters: Sandra (Terrell) Malone, Chervl Warren, Pamela (Larry Hale) Warren; Three grandchildren: Joshua (Whitney) Warren, Meka (Tarred) Malone, and Walneika (Dontie) Custis; two great-grandchildren: Lucas Graves, Josiah Warren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is loved, adored and will be greatly missed.
