Michael Anthony Carroll was born to Jessie and Junetta Carroll on December 11, 1962. He was the baby boy and the boss of a family of thirteen children. Michael was called to his eternal home on August 19, 2023, on his mother’s birthday, at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, AL. Born at home, Mike was introduced to a well blessed and special life, where he lived until God called him to his eternal home in Heaven. Mike attended Sheffield City Schools and graduated from Sheffield High School in 1981. He was a member at First Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals.
He was the love of the family, Mike was spoiled to EVERYBODY, he was not going to let you say “No”. He worked for Sheffield City School Systems until his health prevented him from continuing. He did not meet a stranger and he was going to leave his mark wherever he went. You could find him at Courtney’s, Jack’s, Southern BBQ, or the dollar store, if he wasn’t home- those were his go to places! And as long as you’re talking about money- you got his attention! If you knew Mike, you had to love him whether the situation was good or bad. Mike’s main hobbies were eating and wrecking your nerves. A loving soul and a wonderful person the world is going to miss.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie James Carroll, and Junetta Seay Carroll; two siblings, Pearline Carroll Ford and James Carroll, Jr.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories:
