Mrs. Mattie Lee Madden was born on June 24, 1931, to the late Jim Sr. and Katie Mae Horrison. Mattie Lee was the second born of eight children. She joined Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful and devout member of the church until she fell ill. Mattie Lee was the matriarch of a large family and created an everlasting legacy.
