Louise Young Poole was born August 22, 1944 to the late Momon Acklee Young and Rubena Pollard Young in Sheffield, Alabama. She was reared up in Sheffield and was a 1962 graduate of Sterling High School.
Louise attended First Baptist Church in Sheffield and was baptized at the age of twelve by her pastor, Dr. J.C. Yarbrough. After marrying Mr. Bennie Poole, she resided in Florence where she joined Tennessee Valley Community Church. She loved singing and sang songs in the church choir. She received accolades for her beautiful singing voice.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Deacon Momon Acklee Young, her mother Mrs. Rubena Pollard Young, one sister Mrs. Martha Ann Young Divens, brother in law Mr. George Divens, Sr,. Three brothers, Acklee Young Willie Lee Young and Timothy Young, her son Ramono Levias Poole, U.S. Air Force.
Her children were her heart and she leaves to Cherish her memories:
One daughter, Mrs. Stephanie Vonceil Poole Irons, one son, Mr. Chauncey Ferrell Poole, one grandson, Mr. Javon Irons, two very devoted and loving Step Children: Mrs Freda Campbell and Mr. Tracy Koger, one brother, Riley Lee Young (Hattie), one sister in law Mrs. Edna Young of Muscle Shoals, two aunts: Mrs. Dorothy Turner, Corinth, MS and Mrs. Willett Floyd, Corinth, MS, nieces, nephews, cousins, a special friend, Mrs. Janice Ann Alexander Lewis.
