Lisa Gail Sanders was born September 7,1960, in Sheffield, AL. She departed this earth on December 4, 2023, in Florence, AL. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy Louise Burt and the late John Lewis Sanders. She was preceded in death by siblings James Burt, Jr., Linda Joyce Burt, and William Smith; special friend Samuel Lovelace.
She attended Sheffield High School and later moved to Florence, AL where she worked as a home health nurse aide who enjoyed visiting and caring for her patients. She was an employee of Mid South Home Health Services for 12 years. She also worked as a private sitter for others in the Shoals area.
Lisa was a loving individual and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She spent her time helping others, enjoying laughter at house gatherings, and cooking great meals. Many enjoyed her presence and personality for joking around, listening to music, dancing, and enjoying the fun times.
She leaves to cherish her memories three children: daughter, Tiffaney Sanders-Orr (James), son Terrance Lovelace, and daughter Tara Lovelace; siblings Jonell Jones, Lucile Key (Sammie), Nathaniel Burt (Deloris), Michael Burt, Debbie Abbott, and Vikki Burt.
She was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren: Jakoby Allen, Kameron Davis, JaTavion Lovelace, Brian McDaniel Jr., JaMaiyah Lovelace, Talayah Lovelace, Javin McDaniel, and AKylan Ingram.
She was also able to love three great-grandchildren: Aceton Thompson, Lennex Lovelace, and Karter Thompson. She was loved and will be greatly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, a special family friend Reneshia Esters, and many other friends.
