On Wednesday, October 12, 2022, Ms. Lender Barnett Harris quietly passed away at her residence. She was born on November 8, 1952, in Lauderdale County, Alabama, to the late Olivia and Auther Barnett. Lender confessed Christ in her early years and was baptized. She was a student of Burrell Stater High School and later went to Muscle Shoals Tech where she studied business.

She was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, as well as a dedicated member of the local V.O.C.A.L. group. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olivia and Auther Barnett; son, Eddie Barnett; sisters, Alma Barnett and Lena Ruth Richardson; brother, Robert Gene Barnett; and a special friend, Ann Whiteside.
Lender leaves to cherish her memories: her loving daughter, Sheenia Barnett (Howard) of Florence, Alabama; three sons, Alonzo Barnett (Tameka), William Barnett (Ingrid), and Donald Bullitt (Sana), all of Florence, Alabama; sister, Ella Anderson of Florence, Alabama; three brothers, Leroy Thompson, Tonis Brent Wood of the Philippines, and Casanova Wood of Oklahoma; seventeen grandchildren; twenty greatgrandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
