Leatha Mae Madden was born August 23, 1947, to the late Dan and Olivia Madden. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, where she served for many years. In her spare time, Leatha enjoyed riding, shopping, and gardening.
Leatha was preceded in death by one sister, Patsy, and brothers, Ozzy, Leslie, Dan, Mose, Hardy, and Lucius. She leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted daughter, Shawn Evette (Floyd) Jones; five sons, Tobias (Angelo) Wilson and LeRoy (Kara) Allen, Jr., both of Town Greek, AL, Danthony (Angela) Wilson and Tobricy (Dwanda) Gardner, both of Athens, AL, and Tarrance Gardner of Lawrenceville, GA; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Levon Madden of Town Creek, AL; a devoted niece, Olivia (Jerry) Green; two devoted grandchildren, Tobias Wilson, Jr., and Kateira Allen; three special cousins, Louise Madden, Wanda Vaughn, and Kendra King; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
