Jessie Ruth Dodson Martin was born on November 02, 1962, to the late George Homer Dodson, Jr., and Jessie Mae Murphy Dodson. She departed this life on December 25, 2023, at her residence in Leighton, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Homer Dodson, Jr., and Jessie Mae Murphy Dodson, brother, George Darrell Dodson, sister, Frankie Lynn Dodson, nephews, Chris “Chubbs” Bern and Shane Barrett, sister-in-law, Judy Sparkman.

Jessie leaves to cherish her memories:

Her loving children, Angela Dodson, and Joshua Cawthron; grandchildren, Cody Quillen (Lilly), Jessie Lane, Shaylee Hope Lane, Angel May Lane & Twin, Alexis Presley (Warren Watson), Shane Seibers, Bubba Dyer, and Samarah Dyer; niece, Kristen Cagle (Amos) and a host of great grandchildren, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends.
