James Eugene Hooks

Mr. James Eugene Hooks was born on January 1, 1966. He departed this life January 29, 2022. He was born to James Hooks Jr. and the late Barbara Jean Hooks in Lauderdale County, Alabama. He confessed a hope in Christ at Rock Primitive Baptist Church under the Leadership of Rev. Billy Brewer, in Florence, Alabama.

James was a graduate of Coffee High School in Florence, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Hooks, grandparents: Mr. Robert Anderson and Mrs. Lucinda Hooks, aunts: Mrs. Charliestean Chandler and Mrs. Jeanette Russell and his sister, Latrina Hawkins.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his father, Deacon James (Constance) Hooks, two sons: Ladarius Allen and Marcus Allen Both of Tuscumbia, Alabama, one sister, Patricia Byrd of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, two brothers: Dewayne Byrd of Florence, Alabama and Derrick Maston of Russellville, Alabama, three grandchildren all of Colbert County, Alabama, an aunt, Valerie Anderson of Birmingham, Alabama, special cousin, Terry Goodloe and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
