James Amos “Peter” Averhart

James Amos Averhart known as "Peter" was born June 14, 1947, to the late Polly Averhart and Sam Averhart. He departed this life on December 13, 2022 at Helen Keller
Hospital. He was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church
and loving husband. James Amos "Peter" Averhart leaves to mour his passing, wife Annie Averhart of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; one
daughter Amanda Averhart Pearson of Florence, Alabama. Three sisters Queen Ester Goodloe(deceased), Arlee Thomas (deceased), and Arlene Pryor. Three brother Erskin Averhart
(Lucille), Willie Frank Averhart (Virginia), and Willie B. Goodloe(deceased). Seven God children Stephanie Wess, Shawn Malone, Jasmine Carroll, Machiko Wess, Ty Bonner, Amontria Neloms, Ja'Sonti Ziegler. Host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
