Jamalcolm Lamar Reeder, the son of Felicia Glenn and Alex Reeder, was born on February 12, 2000, in Lauderdale County, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. He departed this life on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Alabama.
Jamalcolm loved video games and family time. He was a dedicated hard worker at Keller Landing, Dietary and Nutrition Department until his health started to decline. Jamalcolm loved his nieces and nephews dearly!
He was preceded in death his grandmother, Edith Glenn, and grandfather, Richard Glenn.
He leaves to cherish his memories:
one son, Ezekiel Lamar Reeder; mother, Felicia Glenn of Mobile, AL; father, Alex Reeder of Florence, AL; three sisters, Adriana Shanice Hampton of Tuscumbia, AL, Edith LaSha Mason of Sheffield, AL; and Samia Faith Reeder of Florence, AL; four brothers, Elijah Reeder, Alex Reeder, Jr., Wesley Reeder, and William Chase Southward, all of Florence, AL; a devoted aunt and caregiver, Darlelisa Glenn of Tuscumbia, AL; a devoted uncle, Timothy Ingram of Huntsville, AL; grandmother, Jackie Faye Reeder of Florence, AL; grandfather, Alex Reeder; great-grandmother, Dorothy Weakley of Florence, AL; aunt, Cadetra Murphy; uncles, Carlos Glenn of Smyrna, TN, Jessie Reeder, and Lorenzo Reeder, both of Florence, AL; a special cousin, Kalia Glenn of Sheffield, AL; a special friend, Elizabeth Reed; and a host of other aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
