Jalisa Annete Ricks was born January 3, 1988, in Colbert County, Alabama. She departed this life September 2, 2023.
She accepted Christ at an early Age. She was Baptized on April 26, 1998, at St. James M.B. Church in Leighton, Alabama.
She attended Colbet County High School, where she graduated in 2007. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister. She was fun loving, outgoing, kindhearted, and funny.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Walker Ricks, and Louis King; her grandmother, Samella Mitchell-King; her uncles, Michael King, and Curtis King; and her aunt, Mary Nell Ricks Jones.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: three loving daughters, Jayden, Ryleigh, and Charleigh, all of Muscle Shoals, AL; two devoted parents, Ronnie Ricks, and Annette Ricks; grandmother, Evelyn Ricks Neloms, three loving siblings, Ronnie (Sherracus) Ricks, Jr. of Decatur, AL, Rashanda (James) Cooper of Florence, AL, and Lashanda Ricks of Muscle Shoals, AL; aunts, Cheryl Lloyd of Tuscumbia, AL; Polly Garrett of Harvest, AL; Belinda (Ennis) Willingham of Tuscumbia, AL; Debra Smith of Decatur, AL; Loretta King of Cleveland, Oh; Sue Allen of Leighton, AL; Gina Davidson of Leighton, AL; and Kathleen Miller of Muscle Shoals, AL; one uncle, Louis (Lisa) King, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; nieces and nephews, Jamiee Rae Cooper, Chelsey Cooper, James Cooper, Avelyn Cooper, all of Florence, AL, Ayden Harper, Landyn Harper, both of Muscle Shoals, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
