Homer Pritchard Obituary
Homer Dean Pritchard was born January 1, 1951 to the late Daisy Pritchard Dewberry. He departed this life on March 27, 2019 at Helen Keller Hospital surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. He was a member of Jerusalem M.B. Church of Cherokee, Alabama where he attended until his health failed.
He leaves to cherish in his loving memory, a wife of 47 years, Linda Faye Pritchard of Cherokee, Alabama, two daughters: Linda Dark (Lonnie) of Cherokee, Alabama and Eve Mitchell of Tupelo, Mississippi, three sons: Homer Pritchard (Natasha), Johnny Pritchard (Phylicia ), Sandy Pritchard (Jheleecia) all of Cherokee, Alabama, six sisters: Betty Pritchard of Cherokee, Alabama, Gayise Southard of Sheffield, Alabama, Elaine Robinson of Russellville, Alabama and Daisy Doss (Walter) of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Natasha Nalls of Sheffield, Alabama and Teresa Nalls of Tuscumbia, Alabama; four brothers: Melvin Pritchard (Brenda) of Sheffield, Alabama, Arthur Prickett (Beatrice) of Gary, Indiana, Ben Nalls of Sheffield, Alabama, and Kenneth Nalls of Huntsville, Alabama; two sisters in law: Teresa Long (Curtis) of Iuka, Mississippi and Leverne Pritchard of Cherokee, Alabama, two brothers in law: Donald Davis (Gwyn) and Dennis Davis both of Iuka, Mississippi, two God sons: Phillip Pritchard (Cathy) of Iuka, Mississippi and Derrick Pritchard, of Cherokee, Alabama, special daughter in law, Sonya Pritchard, special friends: Valerie Wesson, Okima Byrd, Veronica and Laura Eady. nineteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Pritchard will lie in the sanctuary one hour prior to the funeral service. Reverend Ronald Thompson, Pastor.
