Helen Juanita (Goodloe) Payne

Helen Payne was born on December 18, 1928, to the late Jimmy and Cora Goodloe. She departed this life on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, in Tuscumbia, Alabama.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Macon Payne; two sons, Johnny Payne and Jimmy Payne; a daughter, Peggy Brown; her grandkids, Sonya Spencer, Jonathan Nipper, and Rodrick Koger; a great grandchildren, Naveah Reporto and Josh Michael; three brothers, Wilmer James Goodloe, Ostell Goodloe, and Joe Goodloe; and one sister, Ella Mae Armstead.

She is leaves to cherish her memories:

8 children, Lauretta Goodloe of Cherokee, AL; Frances Bridgeman of Cherokee, AL; Wanda Thompson of Tuscumbia, AL; Sherry Koger (Frank) of Florence, AL; Jennifer Ward (Al) of Wylie, Texas; Barry Payne of Sheffield, AL; Danny Payne of Sheffield, AL; and Alvin Payne (Tracey) of Cherokee, AL; 37 grandkids, 79 great grandchildren, and 27 great great grandkids; a brother, Robert Louis Goodloe of Cherokee, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
