Ms. Hattie Marie Martin was born March 18, 1960 in Sheffield, AL to the late Margaret Louise Martin and Robert E. Martin.
She departed her life on Saturday May 8, 2021.
Hattie had a very loving heart and giving spirit. Her heart and home were always open to any and everyone, although she didn’t have biological children of her own, God blessed her with two nieces to love, cherish and nourish as such. She joyfully and gracefully assisted with the up bringing of her great nieces and nephews. Hattie truly made an impact on the community.
She leaves to cherish her memories: A very special God daughter: Loren Qualls, Sheffield, AL, two sisters: Marion Martin, Sheffield, AL and Pamela Martin of Tuscumbia, AL, one brother, Robert Martin Glendale, Glendale, AZ, four nieces: two of which she raised as her own daughters: Quenyatta Martin, Muscle Shoals, AL, Kashanna Martin, Sheffield, AL, Brittany Martin, Glendale, AZ and Te’Rica Moore, Tuscumbia, AL, three nephews: Author Cortez Martin, Montoyius Moore, Tuscumbia, AL and Justin Martin, Glendale, AZ, three aunts: Annie Whiteside, Carloyn Holden and Wanda Sanders, four uncles: Rev. Samuel Martin, Ervin Robinson, Warren Robinson (Earnestine) and Timothy Sanders (Latreisia), and a host of great nieces and nephews and cousins other relatives and friends.
