Harry Frank Southern, Sr.

Harry Frank Southern Sr. was born July 1, 1948, to the late Frank Southern and Ruby Mary Richardson. On Friday, May 26, 2023, he departed this earthly life at the age of 74 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama. He confessed Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion P. B. Church.

Harry was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Southern Smith; his sons, Harry Frank Southern Jr. and Isiah Southern; brother: Robert Lewis Dixon; Sisters: Annie Pearl Turner, Barbara Nance and Lena Richardson Green.

Harry leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife: Kiwana Southern; Eight Sons: Joshua Southern, Matthew Southern, Issaic Southern, Gerald Crittenden, Ray Roach Sistrunk all of Florence, AL; Derek Thompson, Brian Thompson both of Atlanta, GA; Eric Southern of California; Five daughters: Shayla Scruggs, Kiki Thomas, Juliette Jackson (Tyrone) and Patricia Bates (James) all of Florence, AL, Krystal Crittenden; Mother/Father in Law: Philette Hampton and Samuel Scruggs; One Sister: Mary Thomas of Cherokee, Al; Two brothers: Richard Turner (Glenda), and McKinley Southern both of Florence, AL; A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousin's, other family members and friends.
