Gregory Hollis was born January 29,1973 to Gregory and Etta Hollis Freeman. Greg was born in Helena, Arkansas and later moved to Flint, Michigan where he confessed his hope in Christ at an early age.
Greg later moved to Florence, Alabama where he attended Coffee High School. He loved football, basketball and hanging out with his friends.
He was a devoted and loving father, husband, son, and brother. His smile would light up a room and he was a special friend to numerous people and loved by so many. He will be missed greatly by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father the late Mr. Gregory Hollis sr., his maternal grandmother Ms. Everlyn Mitchell, maternal grandfather, Mr. Fred Mitchell, paternal grandmother Ms. Idella Hollis, and paternal grandfather Mr. John Hollis.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Kimberly Davis Hollis, two sons Christopher and LeDevin Davis both of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, one granddaughter, Brooklynn Davis of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. His mother, Etta (Bernard) Freeman of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, one sister, Nicole Hollis of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, two brothers: Anthony Hollis of Lapeer, Michigan, and Adrian Hollis of Kincheloe, Michigan. Four sisters-in-law: Sonyia (Mike) Pritchard, Tonyia (Kelvin) Whiteside, Shalonda (Thyrow) Horrison all of Sheffield, Alabama and Shanita Reeder of Florence, Alabama, two brothers -in- law: Alandus Ray of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Desmond (Jacqueline) Ray of Oviedo, Florida. Two God children: Emmalia and Kyren Thompson both of Sheffield, Alabama, a nephew, Antonio Gibson of Florence, Alabama, a devoted cousin, Tonia (Mike) Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that he loved dearly.
