Gloria (Ross) Mills

Gloria Ross Mills, age 88 of Florence, Alabama, passed away peacefully at North Alabama Medical Center on Friday, March 20th, 2026, with her family by heart side. Gloria was born on August 28th, 1937, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Naomi and Theodore Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Naomi and Theodore Taylor; two sons, Ricardo Mills and Jose Mills; a granddaughter, Marquita Mills; and siblings, Junior Jones and Charles Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories:

her loving children, Larenda Mills, Eugenia Mills, Carmilla Mills, and Christopher Mills; a soul child, Oliver Croom; five bonus children, Patrick Wooden, Sean Wooden, Mark Wooden, Devetta Wooden, and Kathy Wooden; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.​​
