Gloria Ford Obituary
Gloria Diane Ford was born on October 5, 1953 to the late Mr. James and Mildred McCord. She was also a daughter to the late L.C. and Mattie Boyd. Gloria departed life on May 18th 2021 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She graduated from Alabama Career Institute with her CNA licenses in 1985. She was employed with Glenwood Rehab & Convalescent for 26 years until retirement.
She confessed Christ at an early age and united with St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Leighton, AL. She later united with 1st Missionary Baptist Church of Florence, AL.
She was married in Holy matrimony to the late William H. Ford in December 2007. She was proceeded in death by her brothers Lonnie G. Boyd, Floyd H. McCord and Christopher D. Boyd.
She leaves to cherish her is memories:
CHILDREN (4) Chiquita (Clarence Littleton), Gloria Michelle Jarmon, Tawanna Rene’ McCord and Henrietta LeAnn (Toni Parham).
SISTERS (9) Mattie Powers, Velma Cole, Elizabeth Hall, Mary Irons, Regina (Joseph Shanes), Stella Clay, Patricia Boyd, Glenda (Tecumseh Mayes), Pam (Vincent Williams).
BROTHERS (4) Bobby (Patricia McCord), Jerry McCord, Wayne McCord, Calvin Boyd
GRANDCHILDREN (6) Chikira Swoopes, Lamya Jarmon, Tyler Gunn, Jeremiah Jarmon, Cariana Littleton, Queen Mariah Rena Gunn.
GREAT GRANDCHILD (1) Zion Faith Jarmon
AUNT (1) Thelma Cheatom
