Mr. George Leonard Farris was born on January 9, 1959, to Mr. Leonard Jackson and Ms. Claudine Irons from Savannah, Tennessee. He gained his wings on September 16, 2021, surrounded by his family in Huntsville, Alabama at Hospice Family Care.
George confessed his life to Christ at an early age and continued to have his own personal relationship with Christ until his health failed him. Mr. George later joined the US Army after he graduated from Hardin County High School. George was a kind and generous man, and he would give you the shirt off his back if he could. He always kept things real and very encouraging and family oriented. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them as well.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Marthann Farris, father, Leonard Jackson, and his sister Brenda Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Claudine Irons of Savannah, Tennessee, three brothers: Chris (Quiana) Irons of Florence, Alabama, Jide (Malissia) Irons of Muscle Shoals, and Terrance (Lindsey) Irons, sister, Janice Irons of Savannah, Tennessee, uncles: Charles Farris of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Billy Joe Farris of Corpus Cove, Texas, Henry (Brenda) Siner of Selma, Tennessee, Lyn Siner of Florence, Alabama, three aunts: Pearl Caldwell of Savannah, Tennessee, Myra (Milton) Tall of Hookers Bend, Tennessee and Mary Harris of Savannah, Tennessee, step daughters and sons: Vonna Collins, Cordeia Rainey, Angel Collins, Cortez Collins and Cozaeus Collins all of Greenwood, Mississippi and a very special friend, Jenifer Seago and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
