Frederick Lee (C.C.) Carroll was born on July 21, 1947, to the late Mrs. Robbin Roberta Carroll and Mr. George Washington Carroll in Sheffield Alabama.
Frederick accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Frederick Served in U.S. Marine Corps right after High School. After retiring from the Marines he moved to North Carolina and later returned to his home in Sheffield, AL were he departed his life on August 31, 2022.
Frederick was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Carroll, son Anthony Carroll, sister Helen Marie Carroll, brother, James William Carroll and great nephew, Terrance DeVaughn Carroll.
Frederick leaves to Cherish his memories: his three sons, Orlando Cornelius (Lakisha) Hall, Marcus Carroll, and Michael Sherrill all of Sheffield, Alabama, his sister, Bernice (Michael) Carroll of Sheffield, Alabama and brother, Dr. George (Mattie) Granville of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, grandchild, Orlandus Hall of Sheffield, Alabama, nephews: Charles (Angela) Carroll of Charleston SC, LaShawn Wooden of Ohio, Robert Carroll, Keith (Shana) Carroll, and Leroy Carroll all of Sheffield, Alabama, nieces, Marilyn Davis of Tuscumbia, AL, Mariko Redcross of Muscle Shoals, Alabama and Millette Granville of Concord, North Carolina, a special niece and caretaker, Juanita Carroll of Sheffield, Alabama, devoted brother in law, Charles Smith of Sheffield, Alabama, special devoted friends: Ricky Granville, Ivan Hogan, James Johnson, Michael Welch, and Nelbon Sanford (Tip), a very loving adopted niece and friend, Tammy Bates of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and a host of other great nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
