Mrs. Faylon Genell Whitson-Kelly was born on February 28, 1971, in Tuscumbia, Alabama, to the late Barbara Jean Whitson and Jerry Joe Jackson. Faylon confessed her faith in Christ at an early age. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Tuscumbia, AL.
Faylon Worked as a franchise owner of Janitorial services. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara Jean Whitson, and Jerry Joe Jackson; husband, Shaleh Alexander Kelly, Jr.; siblings, Marcus Whitson, Tina Whitson-Hicks, Fanita Whitson Abernathy, Rosyln Jackson, and Charlotte Hogan.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a daughter, Nikita Johnson (Dustin); stepson, Tyrus Kelly; siblings, Rhonda Whitson, Alex Whitson, Rev. Herbert Whitson, Charlotte Whitson, Diane Whitson, Jerical Nixon, Sharon Jackson, Rita Goodloe, Chaquitha Simpson, Jawanna Jackson, Jerry Tyrone Johnson, Jerry Jerome Jackson, Jamarcus Jerome Jackson, Jamarcus Jackson, and Jarasha Jackson; grandchildren, Jayden Johnson, Kayden Johnson, Levi Johnson, and Mayson Johnson; best friends, Lisa Brenneman and Kenneth Ricks; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
