Dianne Reedus King was born June 18, 1965, to the late George Reedus and Ollie Mae Mason Reedus. She departed her life on May 22, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Diane accepted Christ at an early age and joined Red Bank M.B. Church, where she served as a faithful member until her health declined.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Reedus and Ollie Mae Mason; sisters, Martha Reedus and Vivian Garner; one brother, George Larry Reedus; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Mitchell and Lula Reedus; brother-in-law, Jason Porter; two nephews, Janoris and Jacolby Porter.
She leaves to cherish her memories:
her husband, Lee King; one daughter, La’Chare Reedus; step daughter, Ashley Bolden; two grandchildren, Summer and Sa’Mari Reedus; bonus grandchild, La’Mirrea Almon; father-in-law, Leslie Porter, Sr.; one sister, Carolyn Reedus; one brother, Richard Reedus; aunts, Ethal Bailey, Annie Jones, Susie Mason, and Clara King; seven sisters-in-law, Charlene (Frankie) Jones, Anita McCoy, Daphne Coooper, Wanda Boggus, Vivan Porter, Wendy Porter, and Renota Porter; four brothers-in-law, Darrell Porter, Fredrick (Jennifer) Porter, Marlon Porter, Sr., and Leslie (Barbara) Porter, Jr.; bonus sisters, Vicky Fuqua, Yvetta Townsend, and Robinette Jones; a special cousin, Pam McCoy; special friends, Linda Nance and Marietta Fuqua; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
