Mr. Charles Edward Hankins was born October 27, 1941, to Annie Hankins and Son Wallace. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age and later became a member of High Street Church of Christ. He was employed at TVA and later became a brick mason.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Annie Hankins and Son Wallace, one special friend, Dorothy Jean Horrison, one son, Michael Pernell Horrison, one stepson, Ray Anthony Horrison, two sisters, Lucille Howard and Peggy Hankins.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory:
three daughters, Sherry (Shaun) Taylor of Leighton, AL, Juana (Darius) Jones of Muscle Shoals, AL, and Sandra Langham; two sons, Christopher Horrison of Sheffield, AL, Steve Marinda Horrison of Huntsville, AL; one stepson, Rodney Horrison of Florence, AL; four sisters, Barbara Hankins of Huntsville, AL, Cindy King, Bertha Hankins, and Ronelle Hankins, all of Sheffield, AL; one brother, Willie Frank West of Leighton AL; two special grandkids, Latika Wilson of North Carolina and Jamal Ingram of Augusta, GA; 15 grandkids; 4 great grandkids; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends, one special nurse, Amy King.
