Calvin Dale Baugh

There are many things in life we cannot understand, but we must trust God’s judgement, and be guided by his hand. And all who have God’s blessings can safely rest in his care. For he promises safe passage on the wings of faith and prayer. Calvin Dale Baugh was born July 27, 1960, in Florence, Alabama, to the late Willie George Baugh and Addie Lee Jones Baugh. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Calvin confessed his life to Christ at the age of ten and joined Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Florence, Alabama, where he remained until his demise. He was a graduate of Central High School, Florence, Alabama, and was a member of the Wildcat Basketball team. He was a former employee at Hons Company, Florence, Alabama, for 30 years. He was most recently employed at Flexco Corporation, Tuscumbia, Alabama, before his demise. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie George and Addie Lee Baugh; four siblings, Donnie, Jerry, Gloria, and Kathy Baugh; one great-niece, Kaylan Baugh; and grandparents, Richard and Celia Baugh, and Dallas and Amy Thompson Jones. Calvin was a loving father and grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memories: one lovely and devoted daughter, Cathy Baugh (Marcus) of Rogersville, Alabama; two grandchildren, Ka’Deen Harris and McKinsley Mitchell of Rogersville, Alabama; two bonus children, Shevita Mars (LaDek) of Sheffield, Alabama, and John Webster (Brandi) of Athens, Alabama; bonus grandchildren, Kree Mars, Christopher Russell, Carlie Webster, and Khyleen Webster; two brothers, Earnest (Diana) Baugh of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Dennis Baugh (Vickie) of Florence, Alabama; three sisters, Ms. Willie Bertha Baugh of Florence, Alabama, Mrs. Vickie Elaine (Eric) Creary of Huntsville, Alabama, and Ms. Celestine Baugh of Houston, Texas; one aunt, Mrs. Mary Ruth Baugh of Florence, Alabama; a very special and devoted fiancé, Belinda Miller of Memphis, Tennesse; an a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
