Bobby Charles Jones

Bobby Charles Jones departed this life on August 23, 2022, at Cottage of the Shoals in Tuscumbia, Alabama. He joined the church at an early age at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He went to Colbert County High School. He worked at Red Stone Arsenal (Maintenance) for many years until his health failed him. He was preceded in death by his father, Hosea Jones, Sr.; mother, Mary Lou Jones; one brother, Hosea Jones, Jr.; and five sisters, Amy Tompkins, Elizabeth Hampton, Verlene Watkins, Jean Hall and Aretha Hankins. He leaves to cherish his memories: his former wife, Shelley Pride; two brothers, Jimmy Jones (Catrena) of Harvest, Alabama and Otis Suggs (Linda); six sisters, Martha Stepter (Kenneth) of Cleveland, Ohio, Ruby Jones, Brenda King (Willie) of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Debra Hamer (Rochelle) of Sheffield, Alabama, Stephanie Hankins of Tennessee, Mary Ann Kindle; three aunts, Ester Polk of Florence, Alabama, Kathyn Smith of Cleveland, Ohio, Jackie Huston; sister-in-law, Elaine Jones of Tuscumbia, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends
